You know, I feel like making a website from scratch would’ve been less of a headache than using WordPress.
But there’s also many people I know who can’t say they have their own website, even if I’m only spending $10 a year for the domain and $8 a month for the hosting.
This website is not well built, as in hindsight I should have started my ventures learning HTML and CSS rather than giving in to the convenience of an editor (though at least I’m stubborn enough not to use AI.) But I’ve built this basically from the ground up and now I have my own corner of the internet to express myself in any way I see fit.
Sure you can argue that one can already do so on other social media sites, but I have a gripe with places like Twitter/Bluesky and Instagram. Though unpacking my thoughts on that will be for a different post.
Either way welcome to my corner of the web, whether you’re hear because of your own curiosity or I sent ya here. I promise most of my posts won’t be as rambly, but I think as a totally not test post I can have some leeway as to what I have written here.

Testing the comments since I’m using a differing plugin that WordPress’s default, as the base option has some pretty bad reviews.
Okay I need to turn off some things cause I can see a lot of abuse. There does seem to be a good amount of control here though.
